The annual Ayr United Open Day will take place on Sunday 9th August at Somerset Park. This years event is being sponsored by The Stage Door restaurant and The Hollybush Inn and we are hugely grateful for their support. They will also be running a BBQ on the day.
The star attraction this year is the massively popular Bubble Football which will be free of charge on the Somerset Park pitch where you can try and play football wearing a huge bubble!
The event will run from 12 noon to 3.30pm and will kick off on the pitch with Ian McCall and the management team holding a first team training session between 12 and 12.45 and supporters can watch from the terracing.
From 1pm to 3pm the Ayr United Football Academy will run coaching sessions for the kids attending.
Ayr United media will host the event with music throughout and will conduct player interviews pitchside.
Club Historian Duncan Carmichael will once again be hosting his hugely popular stadium tours and club mascot PANDAMONIUM will be available throughout the afternoon for pictures. Mancini’s will be bringing their award winning ice cream to cool you down.
There will also be a bouncy castle, face painting and a fire appliance. The 52nd Lowland Battalion (6Scots) are also going to be in attendance and bringing along some night vision equipment, radios and much more.
The club shop will be open from 12-3.30 selling a huge array of Ayr United merchandise.
