Match preview

Ayr United vs Dunfermline Athletic

Ladbrokes Championship

Saturday 25th August 2018. Kick off 3pm

TEAM NEWS – Chris Higgins is still out however he will be playing in the reserves match at Somerset Park on Monday night. Daniel Harvie misses out due to suspension after his red card in the game at Inverness.

Ian Says – :”It feels like quite some time since we played at Somerset in our first league match. Since then we had the draw at Inverness, a defeat on penalties in the Irn Bru Cup and last weekends Betfred Cup victory at Dundee. I have said it hundreds of time since I came here but we are still working very hard to make Somerset a place teams fear to come. We have a good rivalry with Dunfermline from a few years ago and with both teams in good form it should be a really good game with a great atmosphere.”
