Ross McCrorie signs

Ross McCrorie has today signed on an emergency one month loan from Rangers.

Manager Ian McCall said :-“In the last 3/4 months our injury problems have been well documented but we have tried not to make too big a deal about it, we could have looked to bolster the squad however I felt the chairman has put in enough. Now we have a lot of games in the next few weeks and we need to strengthen and ensure we don’t rush Ross Docherty and Jamie Adams back and set them back. Ross can play right back, centre back or in centre midfield. He is a defensive minded player who is quick and hugely talented. He has just trained with us and looked extremely good and goes straight into the squad for tomorrow.”

Ross, 18 next month, is currently the captain for the Rangers under 20 side. Originally from Dailly he captained Scotland under 17s in last Summers European Championship and has since moved up and is now a regular in the Scotland under 19 side.

Ross is a highly rated young player and when signing for Rangers in May 2014 he was wanted by Sunderland, Manchester City and Manchester United.
