Shirt/Shorts Review 2015

A.D.Rattray Whisky Experience were the main winners of the Ayr United Shirt & Shorts Draw/Auction in the Ally MacLeod Hospitality Suite last night. A.D.Rattray had also donated an auction prize for the evening and will now have their logo on our home and away tops for the 2015/16 season.

Ayrshire Medical Services won the 2nd prize to have their company logo on the teams shorts for this coming season. Garry Savage the company owner also has a trackside board and sponsors our AU media. He also continually makes purchases for his business through http://sportscashback.co.uk/ayr-united/ our new venture which costs you nothing and makes the club money for the upkeep of Somerset Park.

5th prize went to Ashleigh Scotland, 4th to Hugh Strain & Son Ltd and 3rd prize to Ingram Motoring.

Iain Ferguson, the head of PR for Ayr Racecourse conducted the auction which had an extremely impressive 18 items on it and did a fantastic job of raising 4 thousand pounds from it.

Entertainment on the night came from local singer Brian Reilly who is well known for singing on the brig at the bottom of Ayr high street. He played a fantastic set and delighted the capacity crowd inside the hospitality suite.

Commercial manager Graeme Miller said :”We are delighted with the outcome of the event. We had a large number of new entrants this year and the auction was fantastic. This years auction raised double what last years did and a large part of that was down to Iain Ferguson who was a huge success. I would like to thank everyone who entered the draw,those who donated auction prizes and all those who bid for them. This event is a huge part of our year and I already have a few ideas to make next years more attractive for entrants.”
